Proctor in robotic HPB surgery

Happy to have become a proctor in robotic HPB surgery.

Testament to the benefits of working with some great colleagues and friends, and comes at a really productive time for the programme and unit:

• Robotic liver resections completed
• 450 cases overall
• 30 cases done by trainees using dual-console systems (and increasing!)
• 3 abstracts presented (on programme implementation and complex biliary disease) and with a further abstract accepted on synchronous bowel-liver resection and 2 more in progress
• 3 of our trainees forming the winning team for the AUGIS trainee skills competition
